She helped me find my very first home. We have stayed in touch over the years and now she has helped me to sell that first home on 7/8/2022, to start a new journey looking for a forever home. If you are looking for a realtor, I would recommend her 10/10 times. Awesome personality, extremely responsive and will always keep your best interest in mind.

We had a great experience working with Suzanne and highly recommend her and her team. She was always available, very communicative, and answered every question we had (and more). She and her team made buying a home easy! Suzanne helped us navigate a changing housing market with ease. Searching for a new home on the other side of the country was challenging, but Suzanne and Trisha made it much easier than we expected. One of things we found most valuable was the extensive knowledge that Suzanne has of Manchester and the surrounding area. It was incredibly helpful to two people moving from out of state that know little about NH. They even helped us navigate a last minute offer on a house while we were on a plane flying back from Manchester to Seattle, WA! I never thought I would try to buy a house from a plane! We STRONGLY recommend Suzanne and her team to others.

Not the experience I was sold AT ALL. We were left out of discussions, talked down to and not a priority at all. It disgusts me that she made so much money off the sale of our home and if we didnt have a contract we wouldve fired her and gone with someone else. Between vacations, not feeling heard and passing the blame off to her assistant it was just an overall cluster. The week leading up to the closing we heard NOTHING from her. No call or text to check in, NOTHING. When the deal was done, guess what? WE HEARD NOTHING! No aEURoecongrats, you made it through this process!aEUR? Just cricket as she collected her cut and continued to treat us like nothing. I'm astonished by all the rave reviews. We were not impressed at all and would NEVERRRRR recommend Suzanne Damon to anyone!

*responding to 10/18 response from realtor: editing my previous review to add the photographer working with Damon Realty did a great job.Suzanne met us at our house and at this meeting she told me to forward her any and all communication/advances from other realtors I received. Emails, voicemails, texts, she wanted it all. We were not under any contract at this point so I found that odd. A few weeks later we signed our contract and communication pretty much tanked from then on. She wasnt present at important inspections after she said shed be there. She had conversations with the buyers agent without our feedback and took negotiations into her own hands when advised to consult with us before responding to buyers agent. Suzanne wanted to list our house too low, we spoke up and earned more on closing because we insisted the price be listed above her suggestion. That was not her putting in effort to get us more money, that was us knowing what our home was worth in the current market. Overall, communication 0/5Punctuality 0/5Professionalism 1/5

Will a ramp and grab bars hurt our selling price?

Handicap equipt is desirable for those who need it. Those who need it cannot find a home with this equipt in it. With Baby Boomers aging into the likely hood of wanting such a well-equipped home, this will enhance the desirability of that kind of property. Thus, adding the grab bars and ramp will become a desirability issue, not a value issue.

Is it still a good idea to stage a home in a seller's market?

The better your home looks the more "eyeballs" that will be on your property. If you think you have a product that will get all the eyeballs without "staging", go for it! be sure to give your home a professional cleaning before buyers take a look.

Where do I find the water shut off for outside?

In New Hampshire, the shut-off is located on the opposite side of the spigot location on the interior side of the home in the basement, usually where the foundation sill meets the foundation wall. Follow the pipes to the shut-off.

Does the value of my home affect the commission that I pay?

Fees charged do not depend on the value of the home but rather on the policy of the broker/agent/company that you are working with. With that said, the value of the home does impact fees from the standpoint of most fees are based on a % of the sale price. However, fees do NOT have to be based on a % of the sale price. there are so many variables to consider and some companies allow for flexibility, and others may not. Our code of ethics does not allow us to discuss fees between companies so we have little knowledge of how much other companies charge for services or their structure for such.
