Kristy Stubbs-Henderson

There are many things that lead people back to the eastern side of the Atlanta area; most think of the beautiful lakes, great communities, and a better quality of life. True, those are outstanding reasons to live and play in our backyard, but my reason for moving here is the people. My name is Kristy Stubbs-Henderson. Though I am no native to East Atlanta, I now call it home. My husband Brad was raised in the Covington, GA area, and we have returned with our children to settle here once again. I attended Georgia Southern University and after many years of traveling and several different zip codes, decided to bring our daughters, Audrey and Ella, back to family in Oxford and Newton County. With over thirteen years of sales and field management experience and five plus years in the real estate profession, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to expand that with Coldwell Banker Gerri Murphy Realty. I know the importance of true customer service externally and internally to help an organization thrive and grow. Post graduation from Georgia Southern, I began my management career in retail. I have had the pleasure of working for some of the top retail companies including The Wet Seal, Inc., The Children's Place, and Hot Topic, Inc. With each of these corporations I have lead a district team of up to 300 employees in multiple states to achieve sales, payroll, inventory and profit goals. Besides the daily operational duties, I have also been responsible for handling hiring, staffing, recruiting and development of field teams. It is exciting to have the possibility of being able to bring those specific skill sets to the real estate industry with Coldwell Banker in Covington. Licensed in 2006, I have worked with independent builders and developers as well as national and boutique real estate agencies. The bulk of experience was with Coldwell Banker Platinum Partners and Mopper-Stapen, Realtors, both in Savannah and Richmond Hill, Georgia. Having worked both as an individual agent and on a team, I understand the importance of communication, development and support from a brokerage and feel that I can enhance the reach of Coldwell Banker Gerri Murphy Realty. In 2017, I worked to achieve my instructors license and began teaching with the RISE Institute of Real Estate. Working to help agents enhance their careers and get into a industry of growth and opportunity is something I have thoroughly enjoyed doing. Besides all the business aspects - it's not all work and no play - my family and I enjoy spending time in community involvement. Audrey, our eldest, sings with Oxford Youth Singers through the Newton Arts Association and is involved in art and drama and attends the Newton County STEM Academy. Our youngest Ella is a competition cheerleader and loves anything she can do to be loud. My husband a Cyber Security Manager with Price Waterhouse Cooper, is a pilot and CrossFit enthusiast. In the little spare time I have, my enjoyment is reading, spending time with my family and dogs (Inigo and Belle) and studying the history of the Covington/Oxford areas.
