Trust is the most important component in any personal or business relationship. From the first meeting with Joanne, we felt that connection, and knew she was the perfect person for our home search. Relocating from California we had no clue about the Reno/ Sparks real estate market. Joannes superior knowledge of the market and her complete understanding of the entire process was incredibly helpful. We knew we were in good hands.Initially we were very indecisive about many of the properties we viewed, but Joanne was extremely patient and gave us all the pros and potential cons for each of them. She has a rare instinctual ability to gauge whether you need a professional opinion and advice or if you just need time to think things over. When we did have questions or concerns, she always had the right answers and guidance. She never forced her opinion on us, and we never felt pressured. We knew she was truly working in our best interest. When we finally decided on the perfect house for us, she guided us through the offer process, and we got the house! One offer and we were in contract. This may not be a typical scenario for many home buyers, but it was ours. We are extremely grateful we had Joanne on our team.We highly recommend Joanne. From the scheduling of appropriate home viewings, mortgage approvals and the offer process, right though the pre and post-closing process she was there for us.She made an initially strange and unfamiliar area to us feel more like home, and now it is our home.

My husband and I just relocated from CA to NV and bought a home that was new construction. We are both in the mortgage industry and initially thought, "we don't need an agent for new construction, we can just work with the builder's rep" - WRONG. I would have regretted it deeply had I gone that route. There is SO much to new construction (and real estate in general!) that we were not versed on. We are good with the mortgage stuff, but the real estate stuff, not our expertise. That is what Joanne is - a true EXPERT in her field. She is so knowledgeable on every front, knows the area like the back of her hand and weeded out about 10 developments we would have wasted our time going to, just by us telling her what we were looking for. She presented us with options that fit what we wanted and were within our budget. She is upfront, honest, responsive and a true professional. She was patient with my million questions over an eight month build. Even if you're not buying new construction, Joanne is an excellent person to have on your side as you navigate the crazy NV market. I cannot recommend her enough! Stellar in her field!

Sometimes I am skeptical about all 5 star reviews - maybe this is too good to be true? Joanne deserves all 5 stars! And then some! She is extremely familiar with the Reno/Sparks area and each house she took me to see, she gave me insights into how it would hold value and why, what upcoming transportation things were happening that would impact traffic, and so much more. It was incredibly helpful.She did not hesitate to show me a bunch of houses, even ones she knew were probably not going to work for me, so that I would have a good understanding of what was available (in a very tight market!!) and to make sure I wouldn't later wonder if I had missed out on anything. Nope. I can't believe how quickly she responded to every question, email, text - especially because she didn't spend time talking on the phone while showing me houses - I know she is a busy realtor but she somehow managed to make it seem like I was her only buyer, which was so reassuring. As a first time buyer, there was (is!) a LOT I didn't know and Joanne never minded explaining things to me - and did so in a way that didn't make me feel at all dumb for not knowing. She loves teaching and it definitely shows. Her negotiation skills were also super helpful to me and I ended up with a fantastic deal on a house that had everything I wanted(!!!) and we closed within 30 days. When I first called her in mid/late July, I told her I would ideally be out of my apartment by September 1, and she made it happen! I really did not believe it was possible. She worked closely and so efficiently with my lender and title company and asked sellers' realtor anything I wanted to know - always with quick responses. She encouraged me to make sure I stuck with a budget for the house that allowed plenty of room for the rest of life - instead of pushing me toward more expensive homes for a higher commission. I felt like I could really trust her and that helped relieve so much stress in what could have been a super stressful process. I was looking at web articles about the stress of homebuying and it seemed like night and day. Something like 2/3 of people cry sometime during the process - I did not cry once :-) It's my first home but after hearing so many friends and family's homebuying experiences - Joanne is all of your realtor dreams come true.

Joanne was such a joy to work with! My husband and I were first time home buyers and Joanne made the process very easy, she was super informative and knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we had so we could understand the terminology and process.
