A few years ago, we were looking to buy our first house. We wanted to work with a realtor, but didn't know any or know where to start. Mostly we needed a realtor who would listen to our needs and help us find a realistic home for us. We had a tight budget, were looking in a specific area, and hoping to find a home under value to resale at market value later on. My wife found Jason through reading raving Facebook reviews. I called him and after he took an hour thoroughly answering my many questions, I knew he was the right realtor for us. In fact, I remember many extensive phone conversations where he took the time to explain every scenario and educate us on every step of the buying process. Jason helped us close on our first home in winter 2015. It was a short sale and he was realistic and up front with us with the risks and time table of closing on such a house. Jason was supportive of our decision and stuck buy us through the buying process. In late 2017 we decided for several reasons to find a new home. Looking for better schools and an opportunity to pay off some old student debt we didn't think twice about approaching Jason again, this time to help us sell our home. He was very happy to come out and see the improvements we'd made on our home over the 2 years we lived there and give us advice on how to prepare our home to sell. One thing I love about Jason is that he's accessible, realistic, has good judgement, and very experienced in real estate, property management, and investing. So we prepared our home to sell in the spring of 2018. We listed our home earlier than we originally were planning to, based on Jason's advice. We listed in February because he said there would be lots of military families moving to our area in March who would be looking for a home. He was right. We had 6 showings in the first 2 days and an offer which was ratified within one week. We were ecstatic! And whats better was the offer was for our asking price! Jason had helped us price our home just right. Then reality hit us that we were going to be homeless in a little over a month and we needed to find a new home. We considered renting, but after looking at some bleak options, we called up Jason and said, "Guess who's looking to buy another house?!" Jason quickly got us on track to get prequalified and start looking for homes to buy. Within 2 weeks we found our next home. Again, we had some very specific requirements for this home. Location, schools, a home under market value with potential to improve, and neighborhood were all really important to us. We looked at 2 homes with Jason that were not quite right for us, but one of which led us to the right house. It was in the right location and once we had that piece of the puzzle we were able to find our new home. Jason's expertise helped us close on our first home flawlessly. Closing on our new second home, we hit some bumps in the road from the sellers side. In the end our closing was pushed back 4 days, but I know that Jason was pushing the right buttons behind the scenes to make sure our closing wasn't pushed back any more. We've been through a few ups and downs with Jason and he's always steady, professional, and will go the extra mile for you. In fact, in our new place, there was a bunch of old cabinets and trash left by the seller in the garage. The seller was supposed to remove it, but it never happened. Jason helped me take it all to the curb and set up a bulk trash pickup that came the very next day! That's what I call above and beyond. You better believe that I wouldn't call anyone else but Jason when we think of selling our home years down the road. And in the time between, I recommend him to anyone looking for a solid realtor and a stand-up guy.
