This was about an experience selling my mom's house who had recently passed away. From the start, Mike and his team were a pleasure to work with. I met Mike and his handyman to walk through the house and see what needed to be done to get the house ready to go on the market. They were both on time and had a detailed punch list of items that needed to get fixed before house should go on market. I arranged with Mike's handyman to do the work and it was completed within a few days at a very reasonable cost. Also, I talked selling price with Mike and I had an idea of what the house was worth but Mike suggested we sell it for $15,000.00 more. His research and knowledge of the area proved to be correct about the asking price. Mike went ahead and put a "coming soon" sign out in the yard and put the word out via social media while I was trying to empty house of parents belongings. This proved worthy because we had interest immediately. Once house went officially on market, we had numerous offers and Mike and I were in constant contact til about 11pm. We accepted an offer for $15,000.00 over asking price. Once an offer was made, there was constant communication with Mike's team. Ashley, their closing coordinator was very thorough in paperwork I had to sign, what I needed to do for closing, where to be, utilities to disconnect etc. We closed within 30 days with no hiccups. One may say, "well maybe the house was under priced if it went $15k over asking price and sold in one day" but the buyers got it appraised and Mike's asking price was exactly what it appraised for. It was Mike's knowledge of the area, the market and what type of house it was (ranch) that helped us get more than what we expected. Mike Wolgin and his team exceeded our expectations.
