As an out of state buyer relocating to the area it was a bit more challenging than a local move. My goal was to find an agent that was very familiar with the area, could provide an honest opinion of my home selections and offer options I may not have considered. I relied heavily on the testimonial of previous clients to ultimate select Dan & Kathy as my agents and am glad I did. I flew into town with a 3 day schedule and 15-20 homes to view. They were able to show me all of the homes on the first day and then re-show my select few the following two days. By the end of my trip I was able to place an offer to get the ball rolling. Since I was out of state, they provided everything I need electronically and set up and managed all home inspections, paperwork and odds and ends. In fact, they also kept an eye on the property until I moved out several months after closing. I highly recommend working with Dan and Kathy, you will not be disappointed.

I recently listed my home with Dan and Kathy Huntington and cannot say enough about their dedication to selling my home. My experience began with the market analysis of the homes value. They provided multiple comps to support their valuation with comments on the pros and cons of each property in comparison to mine. They found a buyer prior to the home entering the MLS system, which in this market is unbelievable.They then walked my through each step, working on appraisal with comps for the appraiser, inspection, coordinating repairs, and even coordinating a map amendment with FEMA to allow for cheap flood insurance rate. Through out the process they communicated and responded promptly to every question I had. I have bought and sold many homes in the last 15 years and Dan and Kathy are the best realtors I have worked with during this time. I have already recommended them to friends. It would be impossible to find agents more knowledgable in the Washougal/Columbia Gorge area.
