We have been looking for home on in the San Juan Islands for a few years and have spoken with not less than 6 different real estate agents. We met Travis Mager in March 2016 and finally felt confident that he was the agent we had been hoping to find that could help us locate a house that would check off as many boxes as possible on our list. Travis spent a lot of time with us taking us to each of the houses we had previously discussed in our phone, email and office meetings. Travis is from the San Juan Islands and truly understands the different dynamics of each of the areas we were considering. Travis stuck with us from the beginning to the very end of the transaction and beyond. We had many balls in the air timing the sell of our old house, moving to San Juan before the house closed, and etc. Travis continues to get calls from us weekly looking for guidance when it comes to services and repairs in the San Juan Islands. We hired Greg King and Sybil to sell our home and signed a contract with them to represent us as of Jan 1,2014. We live on an Island in the San Juans in WA state and the market on the island is Still in a recovery market in the 1M+ market. Our house sold in 3 months which was highly surprising, but we know it was the marketing that Sybil did to hire professionals to photograph our home and Greg getting people to come look at our home. With his knowledge of the market and his knowledge of negotiating, he was amazing in getting our house sold for a great price!!! Personally, When ever I had questions, he would get back to me with an answer within hours. He walked us through the entire process once we were under contract. Always has a smile on his face and is ALWAYS positive and willing to help anyway he can. I have already recommended him to friends wanting to sell theiir home and some friends wanting to purchase a home on our beautiful island. My experience with Sybil was amazing! As a first time home buyer I was prepared for what I had read online and in other reviews where the experience of buying a home was summarized as daunting and drawn out. After talking with Sybil, I felt prepared for these experiences as well as the potential quick turnaround once you do find your home. Sybil went out of her way to meet with me on my schedule and visit various houses to do walk-throughs. She helped point out potential issues with the property and even suggested some wonderful ideas on improvements to help give me a bigger picture. The benefit of visiting all of these homes came when a home that I had visited came back onto the market and I was able to make an informative and instant decision on making my offer.Sybil also helped guide me through the loan process and put me in touch with a lender who had a great track record with clients who fit my exact profile.
