I recently sold my home in Edmonds and used Miao and his partner Elly as my realtors. I must say, of the 11 other closings in my life time this was the best, even fun. Miao did an assessment of similar homes in the area and came up with the fair market value and he was right on. I had an appraiser try and appraise it last year but he said it was an unusual house and that there was nothing similar in the area for comparison and that he had no idea what to value it at. Well, Miao proved him wrong and found at least a dozen similar properties to get some good comparisons. Prior to going on the market, he did several walk throughs of the home making recommendations of what I could do to improve the value and appearance, again, he was right on. He and Elly were the most interactive of any realtors I have ever had, they keep wanting to know what they could do to help and did some things I didn't have time for. They tracked down similar molding for one of the rooms that needed replacing, then picked it up and delivered it for me. They went carpet shopping and brought over several samples of carpet that would look good in a room that needed new carpet. It looked fantastic when it was done. Miao even came over to water my plants for me when I was out of the area during this past month when it was unseasonably hot and dry. Keeping the place looking great for anyone to view it. I had a special need to find out the value of my home from 10 years ago, Miao went beyond what most would do to help me calculate the most accurate value on a specific date, which was essential to my situation. He was amazing in his research and attention to detail. Marketing was obviously good, the first weekend it went on the market he held an open house and the place was buzzing. There were people coming all day long and I had several offers that weekend. Throughout the process Miao kept me informed and gave me good solid recommendations. He is someone I would definitely recommend to my friends and that I will use again. Fran C.
