Buying our first home with Amy was an exceptional experience! Due to living in another state we did the process long distance, but still felt cared for and guided as if we were in person. We received multiple videos about the process and several walk through views of the home all detailed and described perfectly. She also helped us by having amazing community connections and being there to meet with inspectors/contractors since we couldnt. Her suggestions and knowledge gave us an edge in our decision making, and even in the current market I felt confident. Her love for the area is just another part of why it was so great to work with her as our realtor! (Also I'm pretty sure she was supposed to be on vacation when we decided to jump into home buying and I am so grateful she sacrificed some of that time to help us get our offers in.) My husband and I cant put into words what a wonderful experience we had working with Amy Malmkar. Amy is very knowledgeable about Whidbey Island, Anacortes and as well as Camano Island. We interviewed Amy on the phone from out of state and instantly knew we had found someone we were going to enjoy working with in this process. We were in no rush to purchase and had a very specific list of requirements for the property, feeling at times like we were looking for something that didnt exist. Amy never gave up on us, or our dream, showing us many properties in person as well as showing them to us via video. From the beginning Amy listened to us and had a general idea of what we were looking for and as we looked at more property, she retained all the feedback on what we liked and didnt like.
