Two of our friends recommended Linda Hutchings, and we're so glad we decided to use her. She helped us sell our house in Simi Valley and buy a new house in Camarillo, and she has exceeded our expectations in terms of responsiveness (I have no problem texting/emailing her during evenings/weekends with questions), local knowledge and willingness to help us find contractors and make it as easy as possible to move into our new house. I'm also really glad she uses DocuSign (something our previous realtor didn't use) - it was so easy to sign required paperwork via our cell phones or laptops.As a listing agent, she initially met with us and gave us honest feedback and recommendations on what to fix before putting our house on the market. Once the house was ready, a professional photographer came over and took awesome photos of our house, which was posted in our listing, as well as printed out on fliers. A large, white sign was put up in our front yard and was very visible to people driving by our neighborhood. Linda helped us with 2 successful open houses, and we started getting offers within the first month of listing.As a selling agent, she showed me 60+ houses until my husband and I found a home we loved. When seeing many houses at once, she offered to drive us around to make things easier. She has a great eye for details and pointed out anything concerning about the house (older looking roof, older looking appliances, near train tracks, etc.). She was not pushy at all and never made us feel pressured to put an offer when we weren't to. She was also understanding when we did ask her to write an offer and decided to change our minds. When she was out of town, she respectfully informed us in advance and connected us to someone else who works with her at White House Properties. This was so helpful, as this allowed us to be the first people to see the house we ended up buying. Additionally, she's a great negotiator and knows how to play hard ball if she has to. Even after we have closed escrow on both houses, she continues to be a tremendous help to us, making sure that our transition is going as smoothly as possible.

Thanks to Stacey, we got the house of our dreams. As first time house buyers expecting their first child and as people in the entertainment industry with complicated schedules, I am sure that we were probably a handful at times, but Stacey showed us some pretty great listings over the course of a few months and she always had a good attitude and lots of energy. She and her team did some very sweet gestures throughout the process to make us feel special and we are very grateful. The negotiation process was challenging for us not because of Stacey, but because of the market in general right now. We were originally outbid and lost the house, but Stacey's availability and persistence with the owner kept us in the running and we got a second chance. In order to get the house, we had to go a lot higher than we wanted, but it is a seller's market these days. It was probably a very tough negotiation process, so we'd like to thank Stacey for doing whatever she did to help us get the house that felt right for us. She is a hard worker and likes to go the extra mile.
