I recently bought my very first home with Adams help, and he consistently impressed me at every step of process. I had a lot of trepidation going in. I was buying a home in a hot market, and I didnt have lot of knowledge. Adam listened closely to my needs and took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for. It was very clear to me in our conversations that his first priority was supporting me to make the best decision possible, and thats exactly what you want in an agent. As we conducted our housing search, he was efficient and professional, but he never pressured me into anything. He armed me with knowledge about the market and each house, and he made sure I was aware of all the pros and cons of each decision I was making. When we found right house for me, Adam went above and beyond to make the deal happen. We were one of the first people to see the home before a weekend of 20-30 showings, and he was able to convince the seller to skip those showings and go with us. My offer was reasonable, but it wasnt incredibly high. The seller went with us because Adam gained his trust through clear communication, respect, and empathy. Buying this home was far smoother than I could have expected, and its very clear to me that this wouldnt have gone nearly so well with a different agent. Without Adams unique skillset, I very likely would have paid far more for my home (or not even have been able to get it at all). I feel very grateful to have been able to work with Adam, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Planning and executing a home purchase from far out-of-state is always challenging, especially when buyers arent easily able to travel back-and-forth. Adam made the process as smooth as possible for us. We began by discussing our desires and requirements so he would be prepared for our one trip to the area. In addition to hospitality, Adam was able to provide much useful information about the pros and cons of the neighborhoods and properties we were considering. Fortunately, we found a townhouse on the last day of our visit and started the intricate process. Adam stayed with us all the way, from making an offer through and after closing. His recommendations have been spot-on, he kept us up to date by telephone and email, and was always ready to respond to questions and requests. An example: since we couldnt attend the inspection in person, Adam arranged for a live conversation with him and the inspector immediately following. In short, we give Adam Sloat our highest recommendations.
