We highly recommend Matt Polinchak if you need any help with buying or selling a house! We werent planning on leaving our beloved home any time soon but then our dream house appeared that checked all of our boxes and we decided to jump for it. Needless to say, places move fast around here and getting our house ready for the market, on the market and sold before our future home disappeared was stressful! We knew Matt as a former neighbor in Capitol Heights and now as an agent with an office right down the road on Brookside, so he was the first person we reached out to and I am so glad we did! He is super knowledgeable, patient, ethical and dedicated. He knows this area really well too. He was able to walk us through every step of the selling process for our house, from staging to negotiations, while simultaneously leading us through the buying process for our future home, from finally landing on an offer that got us the home to that magic moment of handing us the keys at closing. It was a whirlwind and I dont know how we would have done it without Matts help.

Matt was an extremely helpful and knowledgeable real estate agent and we plan on using him in the future. Before we started anything Matt sat me down and explained the process to me and gave me reference documents with regards to purchasing a home. Matt was quickly responsive and was able to help us find the perfect home for us. He also did a great job listening to what we were looking for in a home so that we did not spend time looking at homes that did not meet our criteria. Matt also helped us negotiate down the price of the house to our price range so that the house that we fell in love with could become ours. Lastly, Matt keeps up to date with everything happening in and around Raleigh and knows which way a neighborhood is going so that when we do decide to sell it will have been a great return on our investment.

My wife and I are first time homebuyers and Matt was a tremendous help. We had a limited budget but wanted to live in Raleigh - less than 10 minutes from downtown, if possible. We expected the search process to be difficult because the market is so hot (and it was certainly competitive.) But Matt made the process a lot easier.He knew the best neighborhoods to look in, so we usually found houses the same day they went on the market. He also had a knack for evaluating the value of homes and whether they were worth pursuing aggressively. This proved crucial. Houses in our price range go on and off the market so quickly that we sometimes had to make decisions about offers within hours.We relied on him heavily and he never let us down. We now live in a cute house in an up-and-coming neighborhood in southern Raleigh, largely because Matt advised us so well during the bidding process. We highly recommend him.
