My wife, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and I met with 3 separate brokers and a few things stand out about our first meeting with Janet. I reached out to her for a 3rd opinion at 2:30pm on a Sunday afternoon. Janet met with us just 3 hours later after doing an Open House over a half hour away after what was already a long day for everyone. By 8:00pm, we were all ready to call it a day.After meeting with 3 agents, our considerations were many and it was important for us to look at all of these in their totality. 1) agents knowledge and experience in our neighborhood, 2) recommended listing price, 3) commission rate, 4) sense of genuineness / trustworthiness, 5) personality, 6) professionalism, 7) enthusiasm, 8) energy, 9) responsiveness, 10)urgency, 11) last 2 years results - how many listings and how many homes sold.Janet won the business on nearly every front - you wont find a better real estate agent than her. We closed on my mother-in-laws home in less than 90 days from the listing date.Janets instincts about the market and people are a couple of other intangibles that stand out about her. Beyond this, and equally as important, Janet is a classy person who cares about people in general and knows what makes them feel good. She is not in it only for the transaction. Janet has reached out to us a few times since the sale of my mother-in-laws home.
