Oh my goodness, as a buyer, you literally cannot have anyone better than Jenn in your corner. I got very lucky and stumbled into meeting her through a really bad automated seller's agent, and I cannot be more thankful for it. I was originally trying to save money by getting a buyer's rebate from one of the many area realtors who do that for DIY kind of house shoppers. Then I accidentally met Jenn and decided she was worth her weight in gold and absolutely worth every dime of the buyer's rebate I would give up by using a traditional realtor. Here's how Jenn saved me *thousands* of dollars and got me into my perfect first solo home:- Jenn communicated very transparently with me. - The houses I had short listed had been on the market, sitting empty for a long time - making them great prospects for negotiating the price down. We made an aggressive offer very quickly on what seemed like the best bang for buck option. Jenn believed we could get the price down $10-12k based upon the amount of time it had been on the market. The seller only came down $3k. Jenn said she would normally push harder but had learned that the seller was not an individual, as indicated on the out of date tax records, but was an investor. Since the investor had a fixed cost associated with the home, their hard-line at $3k off list was a hard line that we were unlikely to cross. So we accepted and went under contract (happily). It was incredibly helpful for me to understand the reasoning behind accepting less of a deal than we originally expected - though the purchase price was still $5k under market.- Jenn moved heaven and earth to make sure I got the right home. - After going under contract with the first house, which was a good house for me, but not ideal, my ideal (but slightly out of budget) house dropped their price dramatically, bringing it into the very top of my budget. The option period on the original house was ticking down though, so we had literally three days to look at the other house, make an offer, negotiate, go under contract, and cancel the original contract before I would lose my earnest money. I called Jenn, a little panicky, when I saw the price drop and asked her if there was any way I could see the house and possibly make an offer if it was what I hoped. She dropped everything, flew all the way across Austin in ridiculous traffic and got me in to see the house that day. We also made an offer that same day. Jenn moved at lightning speed for about three days straight negotiating the price of my ideal home, getting earnest and option money paid, and finally canceling my contract for the first home once the contract was accepted on the ideal home. I honestly don't know how she slept or did work for anyone else during that time period, b/c I was so demanding of her time. But she got everything done, and she insisted that the most important thing was that I got the right house for me at the right price (which I did!)- Jenn explains everything, either in person, with handy booklets, or easy to digest videos - I'm not a first time home buyer. This was actually my third home purchase, and it was by far the best experience in terms of process and transparency. I actually had a terrible experience with a previous agent who neglected to explain processes, which ended up losing a house I loved. Working with Jenn is exactly the opposite. There are no mysteries or surprises. Jenn has handy guides to explain everything, and she is a pro at following up with texts and emails to make sure you've completed whatever you need to keep the process moving and on time.- Jenn can help with literally every part of the process - Jenn introduced me to a mortgage broker who ended up getting me a better deal than I found through a popular online comparison broker. Then at closing they said my mortgage was the LOWEST INTEREST RATE ALL YEAR. And I checked online. It was the lowest rate all year. And Jenn got me that rate. She also got me the best home inspector who found issues in both houses that could have been extremely costly. In the home I ended up buying, a normal inspection actually wouldn't have revealed the problem, and it was a big one. Jenn and her hand-picked inspector saved me literally thousands of dollars in plumbing and siding repairs.- Jenn is fantastic at managing repairs and repair negotiations - In my home, there was a pretty big plumbing issue. It was a builder defect, but it could have been very costly. Jenn helped me decide whether to accept cash for the problem or get it repaired. She also helped me extend the option period to get a plumber out and ultimately managed the repair process. Last but not least, Jenn is a lovely human who is genuinely excited to get the best house for you. And - she doesn't drop you like a hot potato on closing day. Jenn keeps helping, sending homestead exemption reminders and other helpful tips as they arise. Jenn is the best, and I can't recommend her highly enough.

Jenn was super helpful with our move and was an excellent resource for information on various neighborhoods. We relocated from Seattle and did it relatively quickly. We came to visit for a scouting trip and Jenn made time to sit and talk with us for an hour or so about various neighborhoods and what we were looking for--even before we decided to move. She kept in contact over email, and once we did decide that Austin would be a good fit for us we communicated weekly or so about homes and what to expect. I did a major house hunting trip and toured 16 houses in the span of about 6 hours. The first day was about 12 houses, but none of them felt quite right, but there were some very good contenders. I just needed to see the right house, and I'm pretty good at gut decisions. So the second day I wanted to see 4 houses that we weren't able to get in the day before, and found the one that I loved! We put in an offer and Jenn helped negotiate the best deal for us. She even went to the signing meeting! In the 2 homes we had purchased previously, an agent had never accompanied us, it was a nice touch. I would 100% recommend Jenn to anyone in the Austin area or looking to move to the Austin area! She's a wealth of knowledge and is obviously passionate about what she does!
