It has been a whirlwind of an adventure the last couple of months, making the move to our first home! I'm happy to finally be able to sit down and think about our experience with Eric. In the house hunting stage, Eric was always scoping out the neighborhood, like a hawk. The moment there was a potential home, he let us know. He took time to get to know us and what we have in mind for our first home. We were in constant communication and with every potential home, he walked right along with us, pointing out all the plusses (and minuses, even if little) that were in a home. When it came to the bidding, it was an emotional process. Imagine this: youve seen a home you really like, and start to picture what its like to live there. Its hard not to get attached, even if its not your home yet! So the bidding easily became overwhelming, but Eric walked us through every step of the process, and always provided information so we were knowledgeable about everything we were doing. Sometimes its more info than you can process; dont worry too much about it. Thats why you have Eric! Hell make sure all your bases are covered - after every call with him, he would text or email us a summary of what we discussed, as well as the aEURoenext stepsaEUR? and aEURoethings to think aboutaEUR?. We rarely felt aEURoeout of the loopaEUR?, and when we did, he was always just a phone call away to answer any and all of our questions. Once we made it to contract, we were ready to celebrate! But not so fastaEUR| there was still much to do. And all the juggling between appraisal, inspections, negotiations, (not to mention packing!), all while working full-time jobs with a toddler and a babyaEUR| lets just say Eric worked hard to make it as smooth of a journey as possible. And even once escrow closed, he was very clear that our relationship didnt end there; we still had follow-up questions about mortgage, loans, and everything that comes with owning a home - and he was happy to continue to help us out. Eric was made for this kind of work. Hes a smart dude and a people person. Hes ambitious, but also realistic. You can tell it means a lot to him to find the right home for his clients, and its that kind of passion for his job and his clients that makes him an excellent agent. My main piece of advice for anyone considering embarking on this journey with Eric: take the time to figure out what you want in a home. The more detailed you are, the better the search results. Sometimes, it will just take numerous open houses for you to learn about what you want. Be open with Eric about any and all concerns - he will understand and walk with you through them. And when the paperwork stacks way up and you cant seem to hold all the information in your head - trust that Eric will let you know all the critical information and that you can just ride along for the journey! Buying and selling our house is the most stressful time but with the help of our Agent Eric he was able to eliminate as much stress as possible for our family. He met all of our requirements and he went above and beyond our expectations. He answered all our calls during odd hours and he always assure us that hes going to do whatever it takes to make it seamless as possible for us. Eric is a rare find, hes not a pusher which is really bizarre in the real estate world but because of his humble personality he was able to earn our trust.
