Our experience with Tom was excellent all around! We first met at a walk-through of a house early in our search, and Tom took us under his wing right away. He shared lots of detailed knowledge about the areas in Delaware and Pennsylvania that we were interested in. He also got us quickly set up with a bank to get pre-qualified for a loan since we knew that houses were moving quickly and we'd have to be ready to act in a moment's notice. During the search phase, we visited about 10 houses with Tom and he always tried to maximize our time by scheduling walk-throughs of nearby houses, one after the other. During each walk-through, Tom was very honest about his view of the house and shared details that would be relevant to consider if we were to buy.When we found the home we loved, Tom quickly helped us put together an offer that would be competitive and fit within our budget. We were able to submit an offer the same day that we viewed the house, and sure enough, our offer was accepted!From that point forward, Tom was involved every step of the way, giving recommendations and helping us schedule our home inspection and closing. We hit a few snags throughout the process (due to no fault of the buyer or seller), and Tom helped us navigate each one. He also helped us negotiate new terms when we realized that information was (unintentionally) misrepresented. During the process of trying to figure things out, Tom did not hesitate to make calls on our behalf.By the date of closing, we had resolved most of the issues and felt good about purchasing the home. This would not have been a smooth process without Tom's help along the way, so we certainly got lucky to find him!
