Mona is the most honest, candid, hard-working and professional real estate agent I've ever worked with! This is the 3rd time I am involved in buying or selling a home and have dealt with many agents but Mona rises above them all by far. Her overall strategy proved to be successful for the sale of a coop in Foggy Bottom at the top of the price range and sold within 5 days of the listing on the MLS, above the asking price! Her staging skills are fantastic, and she saved us a lot of money helping us to stage it ourselves. She even spent her own money to buy a few items to make the unit look more attractive to prospective buyers. I've never seen another agent do this before! She is well connected to additional resources like a superstar photographer who made the unit look amazing, also made recommendation for mortgage finance providers, movers and all kinds of contractors.Mona's assessment of the specific area and market were right on target. Selling coops is different from any other kind of real property. Mona's pricing strategy was right on the dot - the unit was priced at the all-time high end of comparables but not too high so that we can still attract buyers quickly. To top it all off, we got an offer for an all-cash transaction with no contingencies - something that is hard for any seller to refuse. Mona Banes just has it all - maybe she was born for it!
