Worst experience ever as a real estate buyer working with Tidwell. Tidwell also represented the Seller in this transaction. What should have been a simple cash transaction turned into a fumble of errors on Tidwells side. I was very clear that I wanted to use my own title company and attorney. They used their own title company to complete the title work before final acceptance was agreed upon as their had been many issues that came with the property. They further had the title work originally completed in the wrong name. They then asked if I would just agree to use the work since it was already completed. I then got all the documents for closing the evening before closing and noticed their charges were much higher than had I used the title company I requested. Tidwell then refused to reduce any of the charges after the several errors. Their were other errors through out the processes that made me uneasy. Be aware of admin charges from Tidwell and unwillingness to follow directions. I will never purchase property from them again and will not recommend them to anyone who asks. I purchased multiple properties in one month from different realtors, with Tidwell being the far worst experience of them all.
