In 2011 while living in Michigan, we began looking for a home in the Durango area. A realtor friend from Denver recommended Lauren. We contacted Lauren and started one of the best experiences with a realtor that we have ever had! We contacted Lauren in August of 2011 and described what we were looking for and our price range. Since we lived in Michigan, it was difficult to schedule home showings. Lauren would put together a package of homes she thought would interest us and email them to us. We picked out ones we'd like to see. After she had several to look at, she scheduled appointments and we came to Durango. For each home, Lauren told us about the area the home was in and pointed out things that might affect our decision. This was extremely helpful to us since we weren't familiar with the area. We didn't know about things like "dry area" etc. After we settled on a home we returned to Michigan. The home we selected had been vacant for 2 years so we wanted a home inspection etc. Lauren contacted a home inspector and accompanied him on the inspection. She then emailed his comments and concerns to us. The home had hot water infloor heat; we also wanted a plumber to inspect it and look for leaks. Lauren contacted a plumber and accompanied him on the inspection, including crawling into the crawl space with a flashlight. We also asked her to check on mold and mildew in the crawlspace, she again crawled in with a flashlight in January with a foot of snow on the ground! Since we lived in Michigan, we did not want to come to Colorado for the closing. Lauren stood in for us at closing and emailed all documents for electronic signatures.Our experience with Lauren was great! Every time we asked for help she was eager to do anything she could. Her knowledge and experience was invaluable for us. We would highly recommend Lauren to anyone who is looking for an outstanding realtor.

Where do I begin?? Being a first time homeowner is nothing short of terrifying. My fiancA(C) and I had a lot of uncertainly and hesitation about making a big purchase like buying a home. With so much leg work and underlying issues that come up, we never would of been able to do without our realtor Lauren Ammerman. She was with us through every part of this buying experience. From working with us endlessly to find that aEURoeperfectaEUR? property to finally sitting down and signing on the closing documents she made every step effortless. When our stress levels were up we always knew we could call her for reassurance. Lauren is kind, loyal and always an advocate for her client. We wouldnt be in our dream property without her. My fiancA(C) and I both agree that there is no better choice for choosing someone to take the home buying process with.
