The Stormont Team makes you feel like family, not just a client, and go over and beyond to help. I first used them in 2010 to buy the house I sold today and to sell my parents house as an estate at the same time of that purchase. So I knew they would be the best team for selling my house this year.Lauren helped me to find the best company to stage it for sale, had a photographer take amazing pictures for listing, and listed my home. In under two months we officially closed on the sale...and what a roll-a-coaster those two months were. Lauren showed me just how much of a true professional she is by dealing with multiple offers from buyers. Originally we were under contract just over a week after listing the house, but those buyers proceeded nickeled and dimed the terms and then pulled out on the last day of their due diligence, before we had a chance to say yea or nay to their terms. I should add she also had to handle the drama of them having a car accident in front of the house. She immediately got my house back active in the system and within a matter of days we were under a new contract. She magically handled every situation and every one of my frantic phone calls, which included: the closing being pushed, lots of misinformation from the buyer's agent, the buyer's becoming tenants before purchasing (as a courtesy) but not paying the rent in a timely manner, and many, many other situations. Through all of it, Lauren kept me as calm as possible. The best phone call I received was jer calling today to say everything was done and the house is officially SOLD!I have to also thank Rich. In 2010, he kept me from purchasing a home that would have been nothing but problems, thanks to his contractor background. He also was able to find me a general contractor for last minute fixes to close, and even did some things himself.Thank you so very much Lauren & Rich! You hold a special place in my heart for all your assistance these past years, and I am forever grateful.
