We are now spending the first significant amount of time in our new cabin we just recently purchased and could not be happier. We owe a lot of the positive experience we had purchasing this home to our realtor Janie Sharp. We are not sure we would have gotten through the process the way we did without Janie. Originally we reached out to a realtor we knew to see if he would help us find a cabin. Since he focused on the Reno market, he referred us to his Tahoe colleague at Coldwell Banker. He provided us her name, but he had contacted her too and she was so proactive calling us to set up an immediate appointment before we reached out to her! We met shortly thereafter, and she was prepared. She handed us packages of listings for homes on the market, homes sold and homes with contingent offers. She was extremely knowledgeable during our home previews. She knew the pros and cons of the neighborhoods, home constructions, lots, and was very informative. Janie Sharp?s knowledge and experience in the Truckee Tahoe Donner area was extremely helpful in navigating through the maze of available options. We had a big range of ideas of a cabin we wanted - Janie patiently showed us many many homes in the range - staying with us well past quitting time to maximize our weekend time up there. During the buying process, she quickly figured out what we were looking for and was able to help us find the exact match. She understood the value of speed and proper negotiation so that our offer came in before the rush. Once we found a few places we liked, it was reassuring to know that with her experience our offers were being presented in the best possible light and that we were getting the best value for our money. We were buying a cabin to have fun in, it was important to us that it be a positive experience buying it and Janie and team made that happen all the way until we got keys in hand. Rachal Posada on Janies team came in to seal the deal and handled all the details with ease. And on top of it all, she and her team are also very friendly. We highly recommend Janie Sharp and her team at Coldwell Banker! They are pros!
