I cannot say enough good things about Katie! As a first time buyer, I had no idea what I was doing in terms of the process of a home search, so I really needed someone who would be incredibly patient and walk me through the process without making me feel dumb. She not only made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, but was also incredibly responsive and proactive to help me make sure I found the place I wanted and put in an offer as quickly as I could. Katie responds to all communication pretty much immediately and has continued to follow up with me after closing to make sure I've got everything I need to be happy in my new place. It also helps that she has extensive knowledge of pretty much every downtown Madison property. I never doubted that I was working with someone who knew the scoop about the area.

We are first time home buyers and consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have worked with Katie.From the very beginning and through our closing day, Katie was very helpful and responsive. As first time home buyers, we had a high-level idea of what we wanted, but weren't entirely sure, which meant that we wanted to see a lot of places (e.g. 20-25), and had a lot of questions. Katie was always willing to schedule a showing, or meet up with us just to answer questions. The market in Madison (especially in the spring/summer) is very competitive, making it all the more important to work with someone who is always accessible and willing to help. Katie knows the market well and took the time to understand what we were looking for, making each showing more and more productive.Katie helped us negotiate multiple offers and amendments, ultimately getting us to an acceptance. The condo was listed, we scheduled a showing, saw the property, and submitted an offer all within 24 hours, which demonstrates just how quickly and efficiently Katie works.After we reached acceptance, Katie continued to be a helping presence. She clearly laid out the next steps leading up to a successful closing, answered my many many questions about the Condo disclosure documents - including hunting down some missing documentation - and ultimately made the process as stress-free as it could have been.After acceptance, there was a point in the process when we got cold feet. I felt comfortable reaching out to Katie and talking about how we felt and how to move forward. She scheduled us a showing at a different property for the next day so we could get some perspective on the property we had purchased and ultimately decide how we wanted to move forward. I never felt pressured to stick with our acceptance and never got an ounce of impatience or annoyance on her part. For that, I can't thank her enough.Because of Katie's dedication and support, we made it to a successful closing and have now been in our new property for a few weeks. We couldn't be happier with our new home and couldn't be more thankful to have worked with such a caring and dedicated person to make it happen.
