As a first time buyer, there were so many things we didn't know to look for or to expect. And Janeen filled in all the blanks. And I mean all! She educated us in the details we needed to look into from the paint to floors, and the exterior of every home we looked at. We learned so much from her, and not just the pricing and negotiating that comes with buying a home. Outside of her being so knowledgeable and great at her job, shopping for homes with her is like being with a friend. It was very obvious that she cared about our happiness and our disappointments. The home we ultimately purchased was not the first we made an offer on, and through the months and many offers, she was always available to talk, and quick to offer support and hugs when needed. We laughed with her, and our kids grew to look forward to being around her. I couldn't ask for more in an agent. Phenomenal at what she does, and one of the best people to spend time with. If you are considering working with her, you would be crazy not to.

We contacted Janeen as well as a few of the other local realtors(all five star kudzu or zillow reviews on them) in our area. As a young couple looking to buy our first house, Janeen was the only realtor that seemed to take us seriously so we decided to use her exclusively even though she never required us to sign an exclusive contract with her. After our first meeting with her, she had set up a website with house listings that met our requirements. Over the months we probably had set up or changed those requirements over a dozen times which Janeen would gladly change or add whenever. If there was a house we'd like to see, we would tell her which ones and then about once a week(sometimes more) we would go out and view the houses with her. We probably saw close to 50+ homes by the end of our search.We finally found a home after 4 months of searching (as well as having two instances where contracts fell through due to the sellers fault) that both my wife and I loved and were finally able to make a contract.The only thing we'd wish went better was the closing. The company used told the sellers and the buyers different locations at where the closing would be happening. This made the closing more difficult than it should have been and what ended up happening was the contracts were each signed at separate locations and faxed to the other location. The closing company also could not find the money i sent for the purchase, causing more annoyances until i called my bank and got the federal transfer number. Closing was just annoying and more difficult than it should have been. All of these problems really aren't a bad thing for Janeen except she was the one that chose the closing company.In the end, we're glad we chose Janeen to represent us as our realtor. She took us seriously as buyers and stood by us for months on end while we changed our minds constantly to figure out what the best house would be for our family and it paid off for us. We got an amazing home for a good price and Janeen helped us get there.
