We recently purchased a new home in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Jon Griggs was the agent assisting us with the purchase. From the start we knew we had made the right decision in choosing an agent. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area, was very informative, and did not waste our time showing us homes out of our price range. Moreover, he did not try to convince us to buy anything that we simply did not like. He was very quick to pick up on what we did like and did not like and tailored our showings based on that information. When we did choose a property, which was a spec house under construction, he assisted us through that entire process. Given the current situation with materials and laborers, seeing the house through to completion was a challenge. John was there at every step to help us navigate those challenges and was very reassuring to us that the house would be completed on time. The thing I liked the most wise his honesty about houses and locations. If he thought the house was overpriced we knew it and if there were other bidders we knew it. He was always assessable and returned our calls, texts messages, and emails very quickly with the answers we were seeking. I would, without hesitation, recommend Jon to anyone looking to buy or sell a house in this local market.
