My brother and I had a renter in our property for a little over 2 years and had decided to test the market to see what it might bring. I went to one of the big realtor companies at first to get an idea and met with one of their agents thinking bigger is better and should have a great idea of what my home could fetch in the current market. Well I met with the big max realtor and showed the house and asked for impute on what to improve, what needed to make it shine however the vagueness left us unimpressed and confused on where to put money in the property. This realtor wanted to list my home at $220,000 which was to me felt extremely low but she showed me comparable homes in our general area, the low ball ones. We waited another 2 weeks before signing anything with this agent and in the mean time she told me $215,000 and take the first offer over $207,000. At that time I started looking for another agent.In came Lindsay Mann, she did a walk through of the home, gave great suggestions of what to do and what to leave alone, accurate comps of the area and TO NOT LIST IT UNDER $245,000. We finished up some minor details on the home and went into contract with Lindsay shortly after. Not only did she help give us great ideas to improve the property she got in contact with a roofer to install the insurance paid for roof that we had previously 3 roofers back out on us when they found out who our mortgage company was, her contractor did an excellent job and endured the insurance company when the 3 previous quit before starting the job. Lindsay was also great to work with as our schedule is difficult at times as we own our own business and its takes place in remote locations. So to wrap things up Lindsay helped us earn $30,000 more than the max realtor wanted to start at ($33,500 to be exact - sold at $248,500) Great customer service, easy to work with, supper accurate listing $249k bank appraisal, Great with negotiations, our home was only on the market for 2 days before we were under contract. Lindsay helped us get the most out of our home while becoming someone we have already recommended and will continue to do so, she earned our gratitude, respect, client and most importantly a friendship. Sierra was absolutley instrumental in our recent cross country move. We had a timeline of seven weeks to sort through and find a home, make an offer, inspect, and close on a home in a very high demand market. Sierra immediately started sending listings to us over email and built a comprehensive list of all properties that were of interest to us. We flew out over a weekend and Sierra had all showings lined up back to back to back. Over that weekend, we made an accepted offer and ultimately closed on our new property. Throughout the weekend she provided neighborhood and market insights which were very helpful in our decision process given that we were moving from out of state. Sierra leveraged her contacts and was able to line up the inspection in short order which was ideal given our expedited timeline and the typical turn around time for completed inspections in this high demand market. Both Sierra and her team stayed in constant contact with my out of state lender to ensure all requirements, contractual deadlines, and general milestones within the closing process and purchase agreement were met. This was key as it allowed us to focus on the sale of our out of state home and the subsequent cross country move logistics. The entire process, from listing evaluation, showings over a compacted weekend schedule, offer negotiation, inspection and subsequent related negotiations with the seller, and navigating all the way through the closing process with an out of state lender, was seamless and well orchestrated. Her professionalism, drive, organization and negotiation skills were instrumental in making this process a success. I would recommend Sierra to anyone for all of their real estate needs.
