I wouldn't think twice about working with Evan, Laurel, and the Compean group. They are absolutely amazing. The process of buying a home is stressful and Evan, Laurel and the team made it a really positive, smooth, and fantastic experience. We had an incredible experience working with them. Evan and the team want to make it happen for each of their clients. They are kind, thoughtful, incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and on top of their stuff. In this market, it's critical to have an agent that can spot listings, move fast, advise quickly, and be as responsive as possible. Evan and the team were that and more.We started our journey with Evan two years ago - we had moved to Houston and we weren't sure when the right time to buy would be. Evan kept in touch with us over those two years and was always happy to jump on the phone - tell us more about the market and talk about our needs and timing. When we decided to buy, we had 45 days to buy, close, and move - this is an incredible feat in this housing market. Evan and his team were ready to jump in and made it happen with two weeks to spare! They were so incredibly accessible and responsive and gave really great feedback on listings to both leverage our very limited time and to help us hone in on what we want. Evan was very strong at negotiating which is key in this market and got us the home we wanted even though there were multiple offers. His people skills are incredibly strong and he partners with the 'other side' really well. During our walk throughs he was thorough in helping point things out and following up to make sure every item was completed appropriately. Last, we were first time home buyers and had a large number of questions - Evan always took the time to call or email and was always happy to help.When we moved in - Evan and Laurel were so happy for us and left some really thoughtful surprises in our home that made the experience all the more special. To this day, we still keep in touch with Evan and he's always happy to help in any way he can (e.g., recommending contractors, answering questions about home ownership, etc). We are incredibly grateful to Evan, Laurel, and the team. We refer the Compean group to everyone we know!

When we decided to sell our home I was overwhelmed by just the thought, we were so clueless and didnt even know where to start. I started researching realtors and after narrowing it down I decided To give Evan a call. Calling The Compean group was the best decision for us!From the first phone call they made me feel at ease about the whole process. Evan made sure he explained everything to me into detail and we scheduled an appointment for photos shortly after. We met with Laurel At our home who is absolutely amazing, she was soPatient with answering all of our questions. I realized I somehow no longer felt overwhelmed, these guys literally took the lead and my husband and I were able to sit back and relax. We received an offer the very next day & everything was smooth sailing From there. We officially soldOur home this past Friday and we couldnt be more excited and thankful for this amazing team!
