Amy Danne is amazing. She has always been pleasant, thorough, and professional. We are 200 miles away, so we had to rely on her a lot, and she never let us down! She always went out of her way to get us information or answer questions, and when we found the property that was the right fit for our needs, she made the whole process easy and a joy. She was always there for us, representing us and looking out for our interests every step of the way. It was obvious that it is more than a job for her. It is clear that she really cares that her clients are satisfied, and we cannot believe how much work she has for us, including doing lots of research and leg work for us when some significant issues came up. She even has gone out of her way to help us on things outside of the sale. We do not believe that we could have found a better, more knowledgeable, hardworking, trustworthy, and pleasant agent working for us. I would recommend Amy to anybody needing a realtor in San Luis Obispo, without hesitation.

Reading thru all of the reviews about Amy Daane preceding this one just makes me smileaEUR| What is clearly true about Amy is that she is absolutely consistent in all that she does. Peoples experience of her, from locals to clients from out of state, is nothing but professional and positive, positiveaEUR|positive. Amy has been working with our family for over three years in various capacities. Her kindness, wit, hard work, flexibility, creativity and deep knowledge of the SLO market have made us feel extremely well taken care of the entire time. We live in Lake Tahoe and have been looking at SLO for many years as the next place for our family to grow roots. Without a definitive timeline on when that might happen, Amy has kept her eyes open for properties for us in SLO, carefully filtered through a handful of tight specifications we directed her with. She has tirelessly stayed in touch with us over the years and given many opportunities to consider...and finally last year the perfect opportunity presented itself. It was a design/build opportunity for us to have our dream home. We were a bit concerned about building a home while living 8 hours away, but without hesitation Amy stepped up and offered to be our local eyes and ears and representative during the design and build process. Of course this was above and beyond her actual responsibilities as our realtor, but she was eager and happy to be an intimate part of our team. So we proceeded with enthusiasm and started making exciting progress on the project. As life sometimes goes, however, some circumstances in our family forced us to back away from the deal after we had gotten well into the process. We found ourselves in that very uncomfortable place where nobody wants to be, with significant non-refundable down payment money released and gone forever if we walked away from the deal. However, this is not what happened. In partnership with Amy, we were able to exercise the assignment rights in our original purchase contract. Amy helped us get creative and come up with a solution that was positive for us, for the builder and for a new buyer taking over the project. Amy participated actively in long discussions, negotiations and strategic planning to help us get our deposit money back, even though there was no guarantee that she would personally gain anything financially from doing so. Amys character showed itself bright and clear during this stressful timeaEUR| She had many opportunities to walk away and let us fend for ourselves but instead she stood with us to the very end and was key in crafting a smooth transition to a new assignee-buyer. In the end, we got most of our money back and Amy was kindly compensated by the selling agent while the builder was able to keep on track with the beautiful plans we had collaborated on. Without Amy in the equation, sincerely wanting the best for everyone and putting in real time and effort, the situation would have never worked out as well as it did. So we dont have a home yet is SLO, though we were close, but we do have a true friend in Amy Daane. And we are certain she will help us find that perfect home in SLO when we are ready to try again.

Amy is the ideal realtor for Cal Poly parents who have purchased a property for their student to live in and property manage. With her help this venture was a great success for our family. We live out of state and needed her support and assistance working with our son and student tenants while preparing the house, photos for the Listing, the Broker's Tour, Open House, Inspection and Appraisal. We were very pleased with every professional she recommended: the Pest Inspector, Plumber, Landscaping Contractor and Construction Contractor. We consider her a specialist in selling a home occupied by college students. We would not hesitate to recommend her to other parents considering a sale. The young men in the house agree. After a wonderful 6 month working relationship, we are going to miss her!
