My husband and I found Patrik through serendipitous circumstances as we were beginning our journey as first-time homebuyers seeking a house in Portland, Oregon while still living in Austin. The home-buying process is insane and stressful and overwhelming, particularly in this market and particularly when trying to go through it from 2,000 miles away.From the very first moment we reached out to Patrik, he was responsive, helpful, patient, and demonstrated great knowledge of the Portland market, both with regard to houses and to the offer process.Patrik set up many virtual showings with us, and was always extremely prompt when we reached out to him with our (many, and probably ignorant) questions. Having him as our guide made this process much less stressful than it otherwise would have been. Long-ish review incoming, but my goodness does Patrik deserve one.From day one, Patrik was open and communicative with us about the entire home-buying process. We went into it thinking buying a home was going to be complicated, confusing, and would even require us taking some sort of online education course on the process.Patrik alleviated all those worries and concerns every dang time we talked to him. He was incredibly responsive via text, phone, and email. He answered every question, gave us advice when we felt uncertain, and happily visited every home we thought might be a winner. Patrik even reached out to us regularly just to check in on our thoughts of new listings!Most importantly, Patrik was patient with us the entire six months we spent looking for our new home. He made sure we were comfortable with every offer we put in. He made everything less intimidating, and we cannot thank him enough for his hard work. We move into our new home in a matter of weeks, and it would not have been possible without Patrik's hard work, diligence, and commitment to finding the right home for his clients.
