Sandy helped us purchase our first home here in Seattle, and I can't say enough good things about our experience with her! The real estate market is so challenging for buyers right now, but she worked tirelessly to help us find the house that was just right for us. She was so patient with us as we visited dozens of homes but also understood the importance of moving quickly when we were ready to act. She was great at giving us lots of information but never pressuring us - I really felt she always had our best interests in mind. She also offered us a lot of good advice about ways to strengthen our offer to be more competitive in a multi-offer situation. What I appreciated most, though, was her encouragement and optimism when we began to feel really discouraged by the difficulties facing buyers right now (i.e. pre-inspections, escalation clauses, cash offers, etc). I picked Sandy almost at random to be my selling agent and boy am I happy I did. The basics around local knowledge, experience, etc. are certainly there. However, where she differentiates herself is in her commitment to her clients. From her efforts to totally stage my home herself (she got quotes but found that they were too expensive and decided to find and rent furniture, and stage it herself) when I was out of town, to working with my HOA to ensure she could properly advertise the open house, she was just amazing. I ended up getting multiple, multiple offers. When the first accepted offer looked liked it would fall through (on the buyers side) Sandy worked tirelessly, exploring all kinds of options to get it on track. It did eventually fall through, again through no fault of her own, but she immediately got me another offer and again worked tirelessly to get the deal done. If I had to describe Sandy in two words it would be professional and committed. I will use her again in a heartbeat for any of my real estate needs.
