Almost two years after losing my husband to cancer, I felt it was time to sell our home and move closer to my daughter. LaDonna was our realtor when we purchased our home years ago, and I could not imagine working with anyone else. While I expected a great experience with LaDonna, I was very pleasantly surprised with how she went above and beyond to ensure that my home was presented in the best manner possible. She walked me step-by-step through the process, from staging my home, to photography (which included drone aerial views), open houses, advertising, all the way down to finding a way to replace glass in a discontinued door. Any obstacle that came up, she was readily available to address it. On a daily basis, LaDonna patiently answered all my questions, often more then once, never making me feel like a burden or that I was just another job. I truly trusted her to take care of me and to make decisions in my best interest. It was such a comfort knowing that I had someone in my corner making sure that I was taken care of. n 2015 we were living in Wisconsin. We had our home on the market and were pleased to get a contract a week after we had listed with a local agency. Good news/stressful news - the buyers wanted closing in less than 6 weeks. We knew what general area of NC we wanted and an Internet search found your agency for us. I emailed LaDonna Bumgarner and explained our situation. We arranged to be in the Hickory area for three days after Christmas. In the proceeding weeks LaDonna sent us listings of homes which met our requirements. Meeting LaDonna was an instant stress reliever. Her professionalism and personality were perfect for us. We liked all the homes she showed us the first day. That night we narrowed our first day search to three houses. The next day we looked at more houses. When we walked into this house, we knew immediately it was "the one". We all went out for coffee and within an hour we had put in an offer. By the third day, we were under contract and then back to Wisconsin to finish packing. LaDonna was invaluable in providing names of local inspectors, closing attorneys, etc. We moved our household into pods which were stored until our closing here in NC. When we had a question, we would text LaDonna. She always responded quickly and helped us keep our sanity. We would highly recommend LaDonna and Cloninger Properties without hesitation.
