Where to start about Tanya Kerr. When I hired Tanya to sell my house last year I knew I was getting a well respected Realtor. But it was not until I started working with her that all the extra stuff started to come crystal clear. She is a firecracker in a pint size package. No she is not that small, but she is tiny. But her knowledge and skills at negotiating that sets her apart from others. She was able to sell my house for far more than it was listed at. In fact it was several 100k more than any other realtor wanted to list it. Here skill in navigating 5 offers at the same time and weeding out the less productive offers was impressive. But some might say, well it was a sellers market. But her ability to make stuff happen is crazy good. Now, Fast forward to me buying a place. I told her what I was looking for. Well kinda, I had 3 routes I would go it would just depend on the property. I could buy acreage and build a house, Or buy acres with existing house and remodel etc.. Anyway, the market tanked and there was just not much out there. So I told Tanya to just hang tight and that she did not have to go driving through the countryside with me just for the hell of it. If I found something I would send it her way. I also would find properties not built on and send her the address and she would write letters seeing if they wanted to sell. She would do as much or as little as I asked her. But I knew when time came and I found a place, I could just open the gate and let her do what she does best. She is direct, she does not mess around, she does not miss steps or fail to see whats coming. I knew when I made an offer she was going to do her best to make it happen. Not once did I ever feel like she was trying to lead me in a direction that was not in my best interest just so she could sell my house or make it easier for her to talk me into a new place. Too many people try to sugar coat things these days and it is a very respectable trait she possesses of getting to the point in the fastest way possible and making it simple for me. Needless to say I would trust her on any of my future plans as well as anyone I know trying to sell a place. It was worth every penny and I would not change a thing. ALSO - She is just fun and a positive person so makes the nervousness of spending tons of money feel a lot better.
