My husband and I would definitely recommend Sunil and Deepak. Being a first-time home buyer Sunil and Deepak helped us figure out all the nitty gritty of home buying. Attending the seminar conducted by them helped us ease into the process. They patiently accompanied us to many open houses and never pushed their opinions on us . Sunil and Deepak went through all the inspection reports pointing out to the details that probably we would not even think of looking and were patient enough to answer all the questions with a smiling face. Sunil did not leave us hanging even after we closed the house but helped us with our doubts like where to buy appliances for a good deal, what kind of changes is good for the home and many more . We heard that first time home buying could be overwhelming but thanks to Sunil and Deepak this was such a wonderful experience. They are very friendly , patient and knowledgeable people whom we highly recommend and hopefully work in future again.

As a first time home buyer, working with Sunil & Austin made the entire home buying process much simpler than we thought. They were very systematic in their approach, took the time and effort to educate us on the process and patiently addressed all our concerns. With their help, we were able to understand the intricate details that were critical while considering a property. We were never forced into placing an offer on any property. Sunil & Austin were very forthcoming in letting us know the negative aspects of the properties which helped us make an informed decision. Whenever we wanted to see a house any day of the week, that did not have an open house, they were able to get us an appointment and accompany us to show the house. Sunil has a very good rapport with a lot of realtors in east bay area which helped us find our first home in a very short duration (one month). nil is a very hardworking, knowledgeable and well-connected realtor/agent. Ideal for purchasing your first home. Our interactions with him over 4-5 months and ~10 offers were very positive. I feel he was mostly there to guide us and help us make decisions for ourselves. What we really loved about him: 1) Hes highly educated, and had a successful career outside of real estate. He set up this business from the ground up. He does this because he likes to, and hes good at it. I meet a lot of agents who do this part time, or in the summers, or because theyre helping a relative or friend. Buying in a sellers market required an agent that is completely 100% committed to the job. Sunil was available to us pretty much at all times between 8am and 10pm, 7 days a week! We had several offers that involved very tight timelines, and he came through with information, offers etc every time in a timely manner. You will get a lot of face time with him, and in the past 5 months I really learned a lot from talking with him, whether in person or by phone.2) He never pressured us to make an offer. He never pressured us on price or terms of an offer. He never said no to writing an offer, even though there were offers we made that were very weak in current market conditions (we were new to this, so we only realized after the first few that we were way off). 3) He has a great set of contacts (inspectors, loan officers etc) to help answer questions and help as and when needed.4) He has very helpful insights into the pros and cons of a house. He has good opinions on interior design, renovations, and the costs/benefits of these. He points out repairs/substandard work so you know what you?re getting into most of the time.5) I felt like he was truly working for my interests. There were times when me and my wife got emotionally sucked in to making offers on homes just so we could get into a place (?what if the market continues to rise and this is the best place we can get?? or ?What if we get priced out and have to move further away or into a smaller place next year?? Or ?Im tired of looking lets just over-offer and buy the next house we see??etc?etc). Sunil turned out to be a great support, keeping us rational and pointing out the real pros and cons of the houses we saw, keeping us from bidding on just about anything and over-offering just for the sake of getting a house. On one offer, he managed to save our inspection contingency, even though we agreed to drop it to get an offer accepted. This really bailed us out of a serious issue: inspections showed water in the crawl space, and the cause could not be determined. Because Sunil kept the inspection contingency for us (despite us agreeing to drop it), we were able to walk away from this problem / home. In the end, we found a great home that met all our needs (well most anyway). 5 months, ~10 offers with Sunil. I recommend him with no reservations.

Me and my husband worked with Sunil and Austin recently for buying and selling our properties. We had been thinking for quite sometime. We wanted to sell our present home and buy another home in the Bay Area. After interviewing some Real Estate Firms we decided to choose Sunil Sethi Real Estate to work with us. We must say that we are very happy with the service we received. We found Sunil to be very knowledgeable. Both Sunil and Austin were very helpful and professional. They would answer our calls and address our worries and concerns promptly, even after hours. Ours was a well kept home. We did many upgrades and changes for the betterment of our property all the time that we lived there. As home owners we are always in love with our homes and it is difficult to accept the fact that there could be still some areas of improvement to bring it up to the mark. Sunil took an unbiased look at our property and suggested some upgrades and changes he thought was necessary. Now in the hind sight we feel thankful that we decided to listen to him. We got offers after the first Open House and did not have to look back. Our home was sold. As for buying our next home Sunil and Austin worked under tight timelines and prepared our offer with the right terms and conditions that was necessary to win a home in this crazy Bay Area housing market, also taking care to keep some contingencies ON to cover us incase something did not work well. We are happy to say that our offer was accepted. We happily refer Sunil Sethi Real Estate to anybody who seeks to complete a real estate transaction in Bay Area.
