Jake went above and beyond with the task of selling our house. He took the time to come to our home and come up with a strategy that included a top quality photo shoot, tips on prepping the house for sale (that most people wouldn't think of when staging a house!), as well as pulling comparable properties in the area to set clear and fair expectations on price. He even laid out his plan for marketing the house online to attract the most relevent eyeballs and clicks. His plan worked - we had 4 offers by the end of the first day we listed the property, something we didn't expect! He took the time to coach us through key decisions like this, helped us understand the differences between different offers, and what to mainly look for. But it gets more interesting!We found ourselves in one of those rare instances where the buyer ended up backing out at the last minute. While we were shocked by this turn of events, Jake kept a steady hand on the wheel, helped us retain the earnest money, and wend right to work on re-listing our home on the market. Amazingly enough, Jake had us back in contract within a week for the same asking price, and we closed a few weeks later!What I loved most about Jakes approach is that he was willing to take the time to educate us about our surroundings, therefore setting up healthy expectations for us as first-time sellers. He knew our area, he knew how to read AND explain the data, and although objective, he was pleasant and optimistic throughout the entire transactionaEUR| Never thought I would have to sell my house twice, but I'm grateful that Jake was there to navigate us through those choppy waters!One more note on Jake.
