Stephen Ashpaugh was our realtor for both the selling and purchasing of our homes. I truly can not say enough nice things about how Stephen guided us through the often times very stressful process; he really was the bright spot in the whole endeavor. Stephen has a knack for knowing what to look for in a home and would often notice details and features that I did not. He was very good to point out positives and negatives and would often suggest ways to improve on the home. He was very patient and showed us every home we asked to see . . . weeks and weeks of looking. I believe Stephen knew what we wanted in our new home even before we did! Stephen never rushed us in any of the decision making and he was always available day or night to answer any of our questions. We had been in our home for 24 years and this was the first time we had ever sold a home. Stephen was very helpful and discrete in suggesting ways to improve my home for sale. He never pushed his ideas on us and waited until we came to the conclusions that he was indeed correct in his advice. For example, he suggested that I could lighten up two rooms in my home by painting. I was tired and stressed and just really did not want to have to do anything else to my house. Finally, after a slowing in showings I decided to take his advice . . . . my home sold one week after I did what he had suggested! Now that we have moved into our new home I kind of miss my daily conversations with Stephen as we came to think of him as a friend!

We were so blessed to have Stephen Ashpaugh as our Realtor in purchasing our current home! Never have I met such an incredibly caring, trusting, hard working, and genuinly engaging Realtor. Stephen asked all the right questions in helping us find that soecial home in just the right location, with the character and nuances we desired. We were not working with Stephen long before he knew us as an old friend would. He totally got what we were searching for, never tried to talk is "into" a home and always gave us his hinest opinion when we asked for it. He posed questions to us which we had not thought to ask ourselves, both to us and the seller's Realtor. Stephen has followed up with us since closing on our new home, checking in to see if we are getting settled, how we are enjoying our new surroundings, etc. We have gained a new friend, and are so grateful to have had Stephen as our Realtor, an ultimate professional, and genuine and honest resource. He is simply fantastic at what he does!
