Pros: Kortney was friendly and enthusiastic about her job. She was very friendly with my young daughter when she went with us. She was flexible about seeing houses at times that worked for us. She went to the house we purchased the day before closing to check something for me, which I appreciated. She kept in touch with us and was good about checking in when we hadn't heard from the sellers. Cons/stuff that will improve with more experience: I think Kortney is a relatively new realtor. I did not feel like she negotiated for us very hard in our dealings with the sellers. I might be mistaken, perhaps she did and just didn't communicate that to us very effectively. I wish she had reminded me that the earnest money had to come from a bank account and not cash on hand. That would've saved time and effort. When I went to drop off the cashier's check she hadn't sent over the agreement yet. This was annoying as I was there with my two young children but it was fixed with a few phone calls. When we we're looking at houses there were some technical questions that my husband asked that she didn't know the answers to, however I expect this will improve with experience and my husband probably asks more questions than the average person. Summary: I realize I'm not writing Kortney a rave review, however I think she's very competent and will get better and better as she gets more experience. (As most people do in any profession). She was extremely friendly, had a good attitude and was enthusiastic about her job. Also I should note that we felt she did a better job than other realtors we have worked with previously.
