My comments are focused on two important details relating to our experience selling our home in Santa Fe; working with Darlene individually, and engaging with her Team of professionals once we signed the listing agreement. In 35 years of buying and selling many properties, we have never worked with a more professional group. Communications between all parties was always immediate, informative and professional. The buyers who ended up purchasing our home were also represented by Darlene and her team. My highest complement, and the strongest recommendation that I could make to anyone evaluating realtors in Santa Fe, is that I had complete trust and confidence that our interests and needs were being prioritized and fairly negotiated with the buyer. Finally, from the moment we received the buyer's offer to purchase our home through the closing, I have never worked with a more professional and thorough Team.

We used Darlene Strait to represent us in the purchase of our second vacation rental in Santa Fe last week and she was truly outstanding.Before choosing a real estate agent, my wife and I conducted a great deal of research to see who the best choice would be based on track record, support staff, skills and ability to problem solve. Darlene and her experienced team stood out as the best Santa Fe had to offer. We spoke with Darlene, and then met her in person at the initial home in which we were interested. She spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding the neighborhood, and ultimately helped us come to the realization that the first property did not fit our long-term objectives. Knowing we had flown in to see the property, and wanting to maximize our time in Santa Fe, Darlene and her team immediately lined up 4-5 additional homes to view later that same afternoon. Darlene made the buying experience incredibly easy, was a problem-solver throughout the process and took extra steps that many other realtors would not (but should).Most importantly, Darlene is about S E R V I C E. She promptly returns all text messages, calls, emails and will make you feel like you are her only client. Her team stays on top of deadlines with inspectors, title companies and mortgage bankers. She is organized and fluid, not to mention solid as a rock to work with. We have since recommended Darlene to everyone we know who are looking in the Santa Fe market. We also just recently referred a close family member to her. She's a true professional as well as a genuinely nice person. We think you'd be hard pressed to find a better real estate professional than her.
