We met and worked with Donna in purchasing our Port Jefferson home in 2019. We had a great experience with her representing both the seller and us. We contacted her recently when needing to sell my mother?s home as an estate in Selden. Donna helped us to handle the sale with compassion and empathy. She also was very knowledgeable about the process of an estate sale. She was able to provide great referrals to help with removing the contents of the home and cleaning, and the legal process. Donna was able to bring in multiple offers and had the house to contract very quickly. It was such a great relief to be able to work with someone we trusted to handle an emotionally sensitive situation. Donna managed much of the communication with the referred individuals and the showing of the house with us having to do very little. Donna has a very personal approach beyond just the specifics of the real estate transactions. I decided to move back to LI after spending a wonderful seven years in the South. I got in contact with Donna McKeown and told her of my plans and what I was looking for in a home - a senior community, a detached condo, etc. Donna spoke with me for quite a while so she could understand my needs and then began sending me emails of available homes. The process took a while because I was selling my home in the South. When I was ready, I flew to LI and met Donna and she had several homes to look at. Donna is warm and friendly and made the process painless. After selecting a possible home, Donna put me in touch with a real estate attorney, as well as being in touch with my agent in the south. Donna became a friend! She found me a beautiful home, helped to make a list of things needed to be done before I purchased the home, walked me through the home on the day of the closing, and attended the closing with me.
