Arlene helped us purchase our first condo 6 years ago in Santa Clara and we were happy with her service. We contacted her again when we started looking for a bigger place. She was very patient during the search as we were not sure which area exactly we want to move into. When we finally found a house that we love in Mountain View, she was with us every step of the way and helped us win the bid in a multiple offer situation. She helped guide us throughout the whole process and kept my sanity :) Immediately after, she listed our condo in Santa Clara and did a really good job with the staging, pricing, and marketing -- we ended up with multiple offers above asking.She also helped connect us with great vendors for every need that we have (fumigation, contractor, etc) -- and all of them have been great to work with and I'm glad we didn't have to go through the hassle on finding recommendations as she already has them handy.If you need a realtor, I would highly recommend Arlene!

Arlene was amazing in the recent purchase of our new home. She is what I would consider a full service Realtor! First off, I am generally an anxious person as well as a control freak. Second, we had done some research into home ownership, but were not even close to knowing the half of it when we met Arlene. She greatly educated us on the process of home ownership but also about how the whole process works, as well as always working to put my anxieties at ease. She would call me just to check on me to make sure I was doing okay and not needing any additional information or just to calm me down during the stressful process once we were in contract. And if I would call her, I would get a return call within two hours; often more quickly--day or night. She is always available and ready to help with any need or question.She also worked with us for six months showing us more houses than I could imagine to help us find the perfect one. She never pushed us or made us feel like we were taking too long to find the right home. She was extremely knowledgable about different neighborhoods, school districts and proximities to the things we wanted. And when it came to putting in offers (there were 3 total), she told us what we should offer if we needed to be competitive--and was dead on all three times; it was us who was not ready to come up with the added funding to be fully competitive with the first two offers. When we finally entered contract, she arranged all the different inspections by people we found to be extremely knowledgable. There were a number of renovations we wanted to do prior to moving in, so she made herself available to meet with estimators while we were at work, so we didn't have to take off more time from work than absolutely necessary. And now, even after we've been closed for 4 months, she still quickly responds to any questions I have or suggestions for contractors. She was amazing through the entire process, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Arlene just finished helping my wife and me buy our first home. We were blown away by the consistently high level of service Arlene provided throughout the process.At our first meeting, we had a frank discussion about budget and about potential neighborhoods. This was where Arlene really shone: in addition to the areas we had been considering, she recommended that we look in the Rose Garden, a lovely neighborhood that hadn't been on our radar at all. There's no way that would have happened if we'd used an agent who was less familiar with the San Jose / south bay area. At that first meeting, she also walked us through a sample purchase offer and contract so that we would know what to expect. I can't emphasize enough how helpful this was to us as first time buyers.Next, Arlene set up an MLS search for us and gave advice about listings as they came up. When we started actually touring neighborhoods and seeing homes, we began to appreciate the full scope of her expertise -- Arlene knows the area so well that she quite literally doesn't need a GPS. At every place we visited she gave advice about how easy or difficult it would be to make the home work for us, should we decide to put in an offer. We wound up seeing lots of homes, but she never became impatient, even when I insisted on seeing places that she would've crossed off the list immediately (spoiler alert: she was right in every case).When we did find the perfect place and decide to make it happen, Arlene had the contract ready to go the same night and got our offer accepted the next day. During the closing period, she was available 24/7 and always on top of every detail. She knew a reasonably priced guy for everything, from carpet to foundation work to pest control. The level of personal attention we received was amazing; at the time, we absolutely felt like we were her only clients (though I now know that that wasn't true at all). When we finally got the keys to our new dream home, Arlene was genuinely thrilled for us and came prepared to celebrate with champagne.
