To be honest, I was a little terrified of the process of buying a home. This was our first home and we'd heard PLENTY of horror stories. Not, really, knowing where to begin even, we wandered around Zillow for a while and started putting in requests for information on a few properties. Other agents that contacted us or with whom we worked in the beginning were pushy, or really passive aggressive, or seemed to be barely interested in us at all. Stephen walked this amazing line of "I know what I'm doing" and "I want you to tell me what you need."Ultimately, though, the easy and confident demeanor he presented - tempered with honesty in admitting when he wasn't familiar with aspects of our new home, like the pool - both kept us calm throughout a potentially stress-nightmare, and gave us a sense that we were "in good hands." I've already passed Stephen's information on to one friend whose sister is going to be looking to buy in the area, soon (her agent was pretty bad), and intend to do the same when any of our friends start to consider buying.Truly remarkable service!
