I had heard of people using realtors to find rentals, but I assumed it cost the renter or was only for people looking for really expensive places. It turns out I was wrong on both accounts, and I was so happy to end up working with Pilar! Despite assuming we would end up with a townhouse at best, Pilar helped us find a single-family home in a good neighborhood and within our budget. And then she helped us beat out a number of other applicants. I really appreciated how upfront Pilar was about how and why she, as a realtor, likes to help clients find rentals. I never felt like she gave us less time or attention because we weren't looking to buy and get her a big commission. She was always incredibly responsive and helpful. The next time we are looking for housing, whether to rent or buy, I will definitely be contacting her again.
