Buying a home in one state while living in another state is very challenging. Dave Flood was referred to us third hand. Needless to say, without another choice we decided to move ahead, making Dave our eyes in Michigan. Time was against us.Dave and his finance team worked us thru the qualification process with the funds available to us. Then his real work began. We were looking for a needle in a hay stack lol. Dave quickly showed my son (my second set of eyes in MI) what was available and after some some weeding we made and offer. However with this offer came three months of challenges. After an excellent home inspection (inspector recommended by Dave). the home was not all that we thought it was. Dave went to negotiate heavily for us and we must say he accomplished a fair deal of repairs and concessions on our behalf. If you are looking for a realtor who responds, Dave is the real deal! Dave is honest, if he does not know the answer he will say so, but he will get back to you in good time. He is hardworking and was always available throughout the process. Coming from spending 15 years in construction adminstation myself, I was comforted by his knowledge of actual home construction. Dave is also a part of a very competent real estate team who has strong relationships with reputable subcontractors, which you will definitely need while buying a second hand home.Thanks to Dave we successfully closed on our home within 90 days. We would not hesitate to recommend Dave with fuve stars to anyone looking to buy a home in this volatile market.
