As first time home buyers we were incredibly grateful to have found Liza. Her knowledge of the area and the process were exactly what we needed as first timers new to Charlottesville. She was able to answer our endless questions and provide excellent support throughout the home buying process. She was able and willing to walk us through different scenarios and options in different areas to help us better determine what we wanted. Liza was quick to respond to any questions and able to break down the home buying jargon to help us better understand the procedures and processes. I was given about 2.5 months head notice that my family and I were going to have to move to Charlottesville and Liza was about the best realtor I could have hoped to found to buy a house in such a short time frame, particularly as I lived in Philadelphia through the whole process. We started working with Liza through a family friend and eventually saw 5 houses together within the span of 1 month; 3 virtually through facetime and 2 in person. When we decided to pivot to purchasing a completely different type of home than we were looking at at first, Liza seamlessly pivoted along with us and was able to guide us to the home we finally ended up purchasing! When we initially contacted Liza she asked us a few questions on the type of home that we were interested in then provided us with a login to a collaboration site where she could recommend homes and allow us to search the most up to date listings in the area. Once we decided on the home we'd like to see she was always able to get us in within a few days (including weekends!). After seeing the house, the offer process was incredibly easy as well. We decided on a offer based on our own opinions of the home and used Liza's advice and knowledge of the local real estate market to guide how much we'd be willing to pay. Then, all the documents necessary were sent to my email and signed online. Liza then notified us after the seller reviewed offers and we determined next steps from there whether that meant increasing our bid or modifying the contract to the sellers liking. We lost out on two offers by getting outbid but Liza continued recommending and seeing homes with us until we were finally able to snag one. I genuinely don't have a negative thing to say about Liza. She was attentive throughout the whole process and was incredibly responsive to any questions I had. Liza returned all of my emails, texts and calls promptly and I always felt as though I was her first priority. I would recommend her services to anyone that is looking to buy a home in Charlottesville.
