When we first decided to sell our home, my wife and I figured that we needed to first speak to at least three real estate professionals and hear how they planned to sell our home, as well as discuss how the home selling process would move forward.All three were impressive, but the most impressive was Lonnie Mintz of Rodeo Realty. Besides, his knowledge of the area and every neighboring area was most impressive, for years Lonnie walked our street every few months, introducing himself to us, or giving us flags for Independence Day, or stopping by to say hi. If there was a neighborhood specialist, who knew the in's and out's of our neighborhood--as well as the entire western San Fernando Valley, it was Lonnie.I, myself, have been a party to several residential as well as commercial escrows, and never have I had representation that was what I call, "wall to wall..." or a perfect 10!I do not know how he did it, but he answered all of our calls immediately, or got back to us within minutes, never did my wife and I have to wait to find out what we wanted to know or needed to ask him a question. Never once did he say he would do something, and not do it, as when you are a party to a real estate transaction, issues and matters do arise in the course of a sale, but Lonnie was all over it, it was as if he could anticipate our questions.Equally impressive, was his ability to know and refer the "perfect vendor" for what we needed done and at a very fair rate. When he spoke to us, he always took the time to explain everything, and he always was there, even when he did not have to be. He kept us from becoming flustered, mislead or stressed.His negotiation skills, his ability to walk us through the inspection process as well as the escrow process, made the entire transaction much easier that we would have imagined.His ability to cut through any issue was also helpful, and when our focus changed to finding a new home, both my wife and I could not believe the tenacity and commitment he had to finding us our next home, no matter how daunting the process was.We would not hesitate to recommend Lonnie to anyone who is considering selling or buying a home. I do not know how he does it, but he always made us feel as though we were his only clients in the entire world. The fact that he has so many clients, says so much about his work ethic and commitment. It has been our pleasure to be his customer.Mark Frydman
