My wife and I recently moved to Van Nuys to take care of family. I had never owned a home back East, and needed help with finding a place close to my wife's family and within our budget. As a starter home, we were priced out of buying a single family house so we decided to look into purchasing a condo/townhouse. While looking at some properties online, Mike Harutunyan's name popped up a few times. I decided that I wanted to work with someone familiar with the area so I reached to him. Mike contacted me in less than 24 hours and thus began our working relationship. From the onset, he was open to keeping us informed which helped us since we were first time home buyers.Mike created a search list of properties to look at based on my wife's and my preferences. On our first day of touring properties, Mike introduced us to a listing that fit our needs perfectly. After negotiating with the seller's realtor, he called to let us know that the seller had accepted our offer. Our property search took us only one day.During the closing process, Mike kept us informed and was always available to answer questions. For us the process was relatively quick and painless, and I strongly believe that had a lot to do with Mike. We had a mutual respect for each other, an open line of communication, and in the end, he helped my wife and I close on the right home for us. Mike is the first realtor that I have ever worked with and based on my experience, I will work with him when I decide it is time to transition to a new home.
