My husband and I had fun with our buyers agent, Lili Patch, as we searched for, found, and negotiated the price of our first home together.After several years of renting apartments, we were ready to settle in town and invest in our future -- all we needed was a house to buy. One morning while drinking coffee, we browsed the Internet for houses for sale that were in our price range. We came across Lilis name as a sellers agent for several properties and called her for more information. Though we were no longer interested in the properties in New Hampshire because we wanted to stay local to family in Maine, Lili still helped us create our online aEURoecartaEUR? of possible homes to see and made herself available for our first day of showings.I know this doesnt happen often, but we fell in love with a house on that first day, in our town, in the middle of winter. My wife and I couldn't have asked for a better agent than Lili. She picked up on what type of home we were looking for very quickly and found homes we hadn't found online. She accommodated our busy schedules for showings and all the way during the buying process. When we did find a home she was our number one advocate, as she should be as our agent, but I feel she really went above and beyond. Our closing ended up being complex and she was with us every step of the way, from simply helping us with documents, to meeting us when we needed and negotiating every little detail in the sale. I don't think we would have closed without her. We are now in our beautiful new home and could not be happier. Lili will also be our agent on the sale of the home we moved out of as well.
