At first I was looking for a condo. Erin was very patient. He listened to my list of criteria and showed me condos which fit my specifications, but when I wasn't exactly thrilled with additional costs associated with a condo he took my reservations to heart. A few days later he came to me with a list of houses which fit my spacial needs, budget, concern for neighborhood safety, and location preferences perfectly. I was reluctant at first to take responsibility for keeping up a house on my own, but two houses in I found the perfect fit. It had everything I wanted and had a one of a kind back yard which I could never have imagined in addition to a whole extra lot on the side. And it was waaay cheaper than any condo I saw. All the money that I would've squandered on condo fees, parking, and annual assessments, now goes into a rainy day fund, so managing the maintenance is a piece of cake. Plus I got to have the dog I've always wanted without a pesky condo association breathing down my neck. He even hooked me up with a bank which gave me a much more favorable mortgage - saving me thousands of dollars a year in interest. The owner was a tough cookie during negotiations. The guy barely budged from his initial asking price and was reluctant to give anything when it was discovered that there was a large radon issue. I'm not sure if anyone could've gotten him down any farther, but Erin did a hell of a job in my opinion. Would I recommend him to someone else? You betcha. Attentive. Patient. Listens well. Responds to emails quickly. And knows a ton about the real estate process.
