My husband and I wanted to express our thanks to Alex Hartmann for the fantastic service that he provided throughout the entire process of selling our cabin. The energy and enthusiasm that he showed persisted throughout all of our interactions with him. We had originally listed our cabin with a very large real estate company whose billboards flood the entire Northern Minnesota landscape. I hired that realty company because I thought I would get better service, after all their name is literally everywhere. I couldn?t have been more wrong. Sometimes a company gets so big that they lose sight of what is important, great customer service. The agent we hired did nothing with our listing and then started not returning my phone calls. We were just another listing to them. We decided to cancel our contract with them. We just happened to see a house we were interested in looking at in Emily, MN. I called and talked with a realtor named Alex. He came out that same day to show us the house. He also met my husband out there again since he was not able to make it to the first showing. We decided to wait on buying another lake home until we sold our cabin. We were so impressed with the professionalism that Alex showed that we listed our cabin with him.There were a few ups and downs with the sale that had nothing to do with Alex. The property had never been surveyed, and when we purchased it we didn?t realize that it was always a good idea to have the property surveyed. Through all of my frustrations with the sale of our cabin due to this survey situation Alex remained steady and calm even letting me vent for quite awhile one night on the phone. He was very patient, and just listened to me. Alex sold our cabin within a couple months of listing it and we closed on April 17th. The closing went off without a hitch which couldnt have been easy due to this Covid 19 pandemic but Alex got the job done. Alex is now helping us to find our new lake home. He sends us new listing updates everyday that fit our criteria. He is always prompt in getting back to us on any questions we have on new listings. He also makes himself available for showings. I guess what I am trying to say is Alex is a great realtor to work with whether you are buying or selling. He even communicated with us while he was on a cruise when someone was interested in making an offer on our cabin. We would highly recommend Alex if you are looking for a Realtor who still believes in personal customer service. You won?t regret it! Scott & Terrie Sauer
