When Jake and I first found out we would be meeting with Lex, we didn't know what to expect as this was our first experience with buying a home. We were nervous being an unmarried young couple and not knowing how seriously a realtor would take us. We met Lex for the first time and felt a weight lift from our shoulders; he asked us questions about what we were looking for in a home, but also about who we were as people and what we did. It showed he actually wanted to get to know his clients, even if only to help pick the perfect home. We went through a number of houses before finally finding the one we now call home, but every walkthrough gave us something we could leave with. He helped us discover what was really important to us, as we weren't 100% sure as to what we realistically wanted. There was one house in particular that we went to see and although it was NOT what we thought it would be, we still spent the duration of the time that we were there laughing and smiling. We could not have asked for a more knowledgeable and comforting person to introduce us to the world of real estate. Not only did we get a house out of all this, we made a friend. :)
