The bottom line is that Rachael is the Olivia Pope of buyer agents. Problem with the lender/Condo Association/tough seller? Handled. When we were dealing with a slightly complicated close, she knocked down or supported us over every hurdle, keeping us abreast of status every day. (Warning: if you are an out-of-state buyer of a Florida condo, be prepared to turn over more paperwork than you've ever experienced in a different real estate transaction. )I manage complicated projects for a living so my expectations are high when it comes to communication and follow-up. Rachael was always available to answer questions, make suggestions and guide us through such an important decision process. She dedicated her time to us when we actually arrived in Florida and mapped out a combination of our choices and her own suggestions to view. She listened to our impressions during the first day of viewing and re-adjusted along with us. And she helped us find a local lender who could handle some unexpected association complications and an insurance agent who gave us the best price. We closed this week on a place that met or exceeded our wishes. She not only earned her commission but probably could bill me for an hour or two of stress counseling through a breakneck 30-day close. My previous experiences with realtors as a buyer has been mixed at best. None could hold a candle to the service and expertise that Rachael provided.
