I was very fortunate to become acquainted with Tawnya Murphy for my Florida condo search. A NY resident looking to relocate to southwest Florida, I wasn t really sure where I could go that was within my budget, that met my features wish list , and that included affordable ongoing expenses. Over the 15 month period that I was working with Tawnya, remotely I might add, she was able to guide me through the pluses and minuses of each geographical area, and specifically of each potential development, to allow me to make the most informed buying decision.Tawnya and I never actually met until a week before I made an offer on a property. During the year plus prior, we primarily communicated via email; her questioning me about what I was hoping for, me giving mostly unrealistic expectations given my not-so-high spend budget, her providing data to get me to be more practical, me resisting, her teaching me, and finally me listening...Tawnya was able to tailor a web search specifically to include my criteria and have those properties pushed to me via email as they came on the market. As we collected the data and my views changed over the period, she revised the search several times to include or exclude certain areas and updated my preferences as they evolved.When I was finally able to actually visit Florida last August, Tanya orchestrated a phenomenal schedule to tour properties of interest. We even visited particular communities she thought could be right for me even though no units were available at the time, just so I could get a first-hand view of what those communities offer and their proximity to shopping, the beach, etc. We ended up spending four long days together and visited about 25 properties in total. It was a physically and emotionally draining time - but it was also very informative and, as it turned out, fruitful!I am going into a rather high level of detail here because I need to convey the effort Tawnya exhausted on my behalf over a rather lengthy timeframe. Since January 2019, I sold my NY home, purchased a NY condo, and just closed on a Port Charlotte condo. It s been a very busy year for me - one that I hope is not repeated due to the stress and anxiety I experienced for these moves - and to be able to put my faith in a realtor who I could trust, who made the effort to understand exactly what I was looking for, and who was able to guide me through the home search/sales process was truly a blessing. I cannot express enough how impressed I am with Tawnya. She has a drive that is uncommon in most realtors and a passion to satisfy her clients. I was extremely lucky that our paths crossed - and my hope is that this review will provide some insight to other potential clients to NOT just rely on LUCK - but to be more selective of the agent they want to represent them in what could be one of the most important transactions they will ever make.
